Private Preserve Extra Hot Pepper Jelly
Meet the winner of the National Fiery Foods Challenge in 2002! We’ve entered three products in the challenge and finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd twice (in 1997 and 2005). In 2002 Private Preserve Extra Hot finished 1st and Death Valley Pepper Jelly was 2nd, but we didn’t get 3rd. Oh well. If you like jalapeno flavor, you’ll love this one. This is probably as hot as you’ll find a jalapeno jelly. This is the only time a purely jalapeno jelly has won the competition.
